2017 kick off meeting held by TAGC
Telugu Association of Greater Chicago (TAGC) 2017 president conducted board meeting in Schaumburg, IL, to kick off 2017 events early planning with current president's permission. Meeting started with Chada presented 2016-Treasury report followed by TDF updates by Ram Ade. Current President Pradeep Kandimalla thanked all the BODs, Sponsor, Committees chairs, co-chairs and members and volunteers for their commitment & support in executing TAGC events successfully during 2016. He said that it was great year with milestone events like 45th anniversary with memorable musical concert along with telugu festival & cultural events during the year as well as sports events & community events/ services etc. He also mentioned that Telugu community had very big participation in all of these events.
The incoming president Ram Ade gave welcome speech with great remarks. He also stressed few important points like, planning and execution as team for continuous success of TAGC events in greater Chicago being the oldest Telugu association. He welcomed explained the how the process and recommended to read TAGC by-laws to all the BODs(New & Old)
President nominated New committee chairs, co-chairs for 2017 and were approved unanimously by Board. He asked all the BODs and Team members to show same enthusiasm and commitment for 2017 & coming years. He requested to reach him directly if any information or suggestions. He expressed his views and thoughts about 2017 event planning and funds mobilization. The Board of directors also agreed and expressed their views & ideas about event planning.
The Board meeting was chaired by Ram Ade (President-2017) and Sujatha Katta (Joint Secretary-2017)took the meeting minutes to publish to board and members in absence of secretary
