Few things in this article may not be 100% correct, but the final result is 200% correct.
Let me explain:
You said that there are not many financial gains. Okay, let's assume that you are able to save more money and able to buy 10 houses. Let's assume. Okay?
But, will those 10 houses change your final condition? The final result, at the age 60, it is just the same as you mentioned here. Money is needed for survival. After those needs are met, the extra money is nothing, it's just waste and cannot do any good for us.
Whether we are in India or at abroad, we must keep whatever is required and spend the rest of the money and time for some good causes. Those good causes will give us some sweet memories and make us feel good at the age of 60 and more. Those causes can be anything...
a) Start a company in India and give employment for some people and try to make the company bigger. To read corporate philosophy more, visit: www.tata.com and read about JRD etc.
b) Start an orphanage or a charity and help people.
c) Get involved in a good hobby, such as Arts, Paintings or Poetry etc., and make some good friends and share your knowledge and wisdom with others.
Whatever you do, you will have some good friends and people around you to take care of you. If you just don't do any of these things, and just care about your family, that will become a hell at your later stage - because, your kids are going to be so busy in their careers and they cannot think about you (just how you and me did for our parents!)
