Articles: Politics | Our Parliamentarians | |
| I think 855 crores to run a great country of billion+ people is on a lower side. When compared to US economy and the senate salaries on a proportional basis, this works out to be more efficient.
If we look at politics as career, then the funda of family business does not arise. Like any person and his/her spouse can work Lalu and Rabri can also work. But only that rules of the game are different.
Sitting infront of PC and writing such comments will not change the course of politics in India. So Mr Rajeswar, instead of crying foul over what is being spent on Indian MPs, you should take up a career in active politics.
Try the Lokparithran OR Loksatta.. they are still not spoiled...

u calculated the expenditure for total MPs, but you have not taken total income of family, loosing by the Indians
Sonia + Rahul
Lalu+ Rabri (ex CM)
Mrs and Mr Neduramalli
Karunanidhi & stalin
I really believe the majority of our Indians think foolish. How could they beleive a wife and husband will do some thing to the public. They should not elect them first, if both are contesting.

Of course in the recent past, there is a token murmur from one or two 'comrades', because they very well know that they will be
(happily) out-numbered in any case; at the same time it will also add to their usual 'holier-than-thou airs'
