We do not know the greatness of the coolness in winter and we do not realize the warmth of the Sun in summer. The same applies to health. When we are healthy, we do not realize its significance, necessity and comfort. But when we tend to lose the sight of it, it is then we repent for not being able to experience the happiness in staying healthy. This is the reason why people say ‘health is wealth’ , but when we have good health we give all the importance to wealth but when we start losing it, we happen to know the reason as to why health is wealth and why it is far more than all the wealth in the world.
Healthy life is better than longevity. What is the use of living for 100 years of illness? It is better to live 50 years with good health. So be careful when you pray to the Lord to bless you or your family members to give a long life. Instead, pray for a long, happy, peaceful and healthy life. We need to take utmost care to live healthily as long as we live.
Sometimes people think as to why it is really necessary to live a healthy life and for whose sake? Not for others’ sake but for our own sake we need to be healthy. Good health lets people live an individualistic and respectful life. They need not depend on others for getting their work done. They will have dignity and do not lose respect when they perform their work even when old age grabs their health. The days have been changed to an unexpected way in this modern age. If they have good health, their kith and kin do not hesitate to look after them or let them live under the same roof. For our own selfish reasons we have to maintain good health.
Good health boosts up the enthusiasm and spirit within them. such people seem to be more active and confident. When you are healthy, grab time to save money but at the same time do not lose the chance to enjoy. People keep on saving thinking they might not have a chance in the future to earn but they also tend to forget that they might not have the chance to enjoy their lives when healthy- for example they might not be able to relish the food what they liked before. So be happy and enjoy while you have time and good health. Take care in the simple ways to keep up your health. If you are a healthy person, you will be a happy person. You will realize this once the young age bids you good-bye.
