***No matter how religious you may or may not be, this story will give you chills. Phil. 4:13 states: 'I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me.'
Here's the story:
A young man who had been raised as an atheist was training to be an Olympic diver. The only religious influence in his life came from his outspoken Christian friend. The young diver never really paid much attention to his friend's sermons, but he heard them often.
One night the diver went to the indoor pool at the college he
attended. The lights were all off, but as the pool had big
skylights and the moon was bright, there was plenty of light to
practice by. The young man climbed up to the highest diving board and as he turned his back to the pool on the edge of the board and extended his arms out, he saw his shadow on the wall. The shadow of his body was in the shape of a cross. The man felt a strange feeling, like someone was speaking to him. Instead of diving, he knelt down and finally asked God to come into his life. As the young man stood, a maintenance man walked in and turned the lights on. The pool had been drained for repairs.Phil 4:13.
Remember this story and tell your friends who sometimes due to frustration in life or due to some unhappy incidents stop believing in God, in whatever form He is. But we should always Love God who is our Saviour. He keeps us functioning each day.Without Him, we are nothing but with Him We can do all things through Christ, Ram, Rahim, Lord Krishna or Lord Sai, worship in any form and as we all know God is formless and Omnipresent, Omnipotent and He pervades the whole Universe. This feeling itself and keeping Him always in our mind and heart and that Faith itself alone strengthens us.
If we believe in God and leave everything to His discretion and decision, we will be always peaceful and happy. Even if the problems come, we will be less disturbed. We all know 'Life is not peaches and cream, nor sunshine and dreams, a Tear today and a Smle tomorrow' said by a great writer ages ago. So, we should think that duty is God and leave the result to Him only. This philosophy really helps one and all to be at their best in whatever they think and do. We will not be swayed away emotionally and God guides us all the time.
