Articles: Politics | Politicians - Mr. Reddy B
| |
Though Andhra Pradesh has recently celebrated its golden jubilee year, it is totally in a directionless stage. Regionalism and hatred among different regions/ groups/ casts only increased. Thanks to the type politicians and some media teams we have in the state. The comments are not made on any particular person/party/ team/ group/ region/cast. Nor in the interest of united/ separate state(s). But it is worth pondered over a few points by all people in Andhra Pradesh for its growth.
1. There are underdeveloped places in all regions. Be it Costal/ Rayala seema or Telangana. Whatever progress we see in quarters has happened only due to their natural resource availability in those areas. Let us take for example, some costal districts and parts of Nellore, Chottor have fertile lands and water resources. Because these natural resources, their income levels are relatively better. But take case of Anathapur, Cuddapha, Adilabad, Nizamabad, Srikakulam, Prakasam. All these are equally backward. So none of the political parties have favouvered any area for development. They only taken care of their own development. They promoted their own kith and kin in politics, industry and procured lands where new projects are under consideration etc. So, it is not correct to say that any particular area is neglected for development. But to give some credit to politicians, they added few roads here and there, few industries are set up in Hyderabad, Warangal, Vizag and Tirupathi. Most of these are located in Hyderabad surroundings. This also shows that there was no regional bias. Instead of fighting for more development work at more locations, the politicians are fighting for separatism. Look at Tamilnadu, Maharashtra. Compare the number of industries, airports, seaports etc…Andhra Pradesh stands far below. These politicians and people electing them must hang their heads in shame for such a situation. Are you not interested progress.
