Chittoor chicken kurma

Ingredients: Chicken-1 kg small onion-1 medium size tomatoes-2 celantros-1/2 bunch curry leaves-few garam masala powder-1 tsp red chilli powder-2 tsp or according to your taste. coriander powder-2 tsp turmeric-1 tsp For masala paste: coconut-1/2 ginger-2'inches garlic-2 whole onion-1 medium size Process: Grind the ingredients given for masala paste. Heat oil in a cooker, when it is hot simmer the stove and add garam masala powder. Add curry leaves and add sliced onions. Fry for a while and add chopped tomatoes. Fry until the tomatoes become soft and add celantros and add the red chilli, turmeric. And coriander powders and fry for 5 sec. Now add the masala paste and fry in low flame for 1-2 mins. Now add washed chicken and salt and fry for 1-2 mins. Add water according to your desirable cosistency and pressure cook up to 2 whistles. After removing the lid, squeeze a half lemon in the kurma. This is ideal and famous in chittoor for idlis and chapatis.
