Happy Days!!
Sekhar Kammula needs appreciation for experimenting with fresh talent. The positives first:
· The actors lived naturally in the roles
· Free flow is experienced in the screenplay
· Not at all boring
· Proves that films with new talent are worth making and they are welcomed.
Any director shall be aware that Feature Film is not just a peace of entertainment and it does influence the spectator though not intended by the Director. Here are some aspects that engage the viewer while watching your film:
Ragging:
The film conveys a subtle message to the students that ragging is really a funny thing and the right that gets passed on to generations of students in the colleges.
It is ok when some one takes the ragging to beating the Junior and then seeking a compromise.
Love:
It is natural to fall in love the moment you join the college.
A girl and a guy can choose their life partner right on the campus.
The four year college life can decide the rest of the life with regard to love and life partner.
It is OK to have affairs with young faculty, senior students etc.
Freedom to move together so closely with so much physical proximity with the opposite sex:
Girls and boys can move as freely as possible.
Girls can go with boys on vacation to secluded places and parents allow that.
Boys can ask for a kiss.
Girls would love to be kissed.
Spending together in a room is allowed.
Girls accompany boys for Beer Parties but they drink only soft drinks.
