Moreover studens will not respect aged lecturers forget about the young. But I can say my experience was entirely different. I felt that it all depends on how U present Ur self infront of them. If U are really good at your subject and can teach very well then half of Ur problem is over. If u are friendly, understanding and treat them as mature adults then U will fit in their space very well.
I can say that my classes were great fun with a lot of information. I just used to analyse their mood, before I start my session and I won my students confidence in a very quick time.
Once there were few students who were very arrogant. They were constanly creating problems for me while teaching. I used to be very harsh with them. Then except those three people total students in my class were supporting me. I don't know what happend. But one day on my birthday those people came to me with a greeting card and said sorry for their behaviour.
Then onwards they never created any problems. To my surprise they visited my place when I met with an accident.
I continued in that profession for around two years. And
on the way I gathered beautiful memories with my students.
But looking back now I wonder how from a very reserved me has grown to an extrovertish me who can express herself.
