Pilgrims from 109 countries had Rs.300 darshan
Describing the Rs.300 on-line darshan as a Huge Hit among pilgrims across the globe, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao said, in the last one year three months span over 57 Lakh pilgrims hailing from 109 countries had darshan of Lord through on-line booking.
Sharing the information with the pilgrims during the "Dial your EO", the TTD EO said, this darshan with specific time slot is well received by the pilgrims across the world. "However the statistics shows that over 32.4% pilgrims who are exclusively from Tamilnadu preferred this darshan since April last till this July. We are maintaining the data of all these 57,12,732 pilgrims with us and getting feed back from them for betterment of the system" he added.
Sale of 2017 TTD Calenders from Oct 3rd
The EO also said that, the 2017 Calendars and Diaries will be available in markets from October 3rd on wards for the sake of pilgrims.
The EO said, TTD has printed 18 lakhs of 12-sheet calendars, 10 lakhs single sheet calendars and 10 Lakh diaries keeping in view the huge demand from pilgrims. "These calendars and diaries will be put for sale from first day of Brahmotsavams itself not only in Tirumala and Tirupati but all in all our kalyana Mandapams and information centres", he added.
