Krishna Asthami holiday on Sept 1 Hyderabad, Aug 30 (INN): The state government on Monday changed the holiday for Sri Krishna Asthami, which is scheduled to be celebrated on September 2.
According to revised date, the government declared September 1 as holiday instead of September 2. The government has issued orders in this connection.
It is believed that the government changed the holiday in the wake of former chief minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddys first death anniversary, which is falling on Sept 2.
