New Bi-weekly Duranto Express to Mumbai from Feb 22 Hyderabad, Feb 19 (INN): A new bi-weekly train will be launched from Secunderabad to Mumbai from February 22. According to the South Central Railway, the new bi-weekly Duronto Express is part of the new trains announced for Andhra Pradesh by Union Minister for Railways in the Railway Budget. Train No.12220/12219 Secunderabad- Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai)-Secunderabad Bi-weekly Duronto Express will be introduced by the SCR with effect from February 22, 2011 from Secunderabad and from February 23,2011 from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai).
According to the schedule, Train No 12220 Secunderabad- Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai) Bi-weekly Duronto Express will depart from Secunderabad on Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:05 PM and arrive at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai) at 11.05 AM the next day.
In the return direction, Train No 12219 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai)-Secunderabad Bi-weekly Duronto Express will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai) on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 11.05 PM and arrive at Secunderabad at 11.05 AM the next day. The train will comprise of One AC First class, Two AC-2 Tier, Eight AC-3 Tier, One Buffet (Pantry) Car, Two Power Car & Luggage cum Brake van coaches totalling to fourteen coaches.
The fare between Secunderabad and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai) is Rs 2155 for AC First Class, Rs 1225 for AC -2-Tier and Rs 860 for AC ' 3 Tier. There will be no stoppages for the Train at any of the stations enroute. Reservations commence from 2.00 PM on Saturday.
