BRS claims Kavitha's Delhi stint successful Hyderabad, March 10 (INN): Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leaders have claimed that the hunger strike undertaken by MLC K Kavitha on Women's Reservation at Jantar Mantar in Delhi was a huge success.
Member of Parliament K Keshava Rao offered lemon juice to MLC Kavitha to end the one-day strike on Friday. On this occasion, MLC Kavitha said that this was not a problem of one state. 'Our fight for women's reservation bill continues. There will be no rest until women's reservation is achieved. This bill will be passed if the Modi government decides. We will continue to fight till the end of the Parliament sessions in December," she said.
Kavitha extended her special thanks to the parties which supported the initiative taken up for the women's reservation bill. She also thanked the women leaders and student leaders of Delhi for participating in the dharna. A total of 18 parties have expressed solidarity with Kavitha.
