Security has been beefed up at al locations of huge devotee congregation in the hill shrine of Tirumala as the nine annual festival of Salakatla Brahmotsavam kicks off to huge crowds from Saturday. Aerial surveillance of the 3 km radius of Tirumala hill shrine on an experimental basis has been taken up . A highly sophisticated camera with high resolution zooming capacity has been fixed to a large helium balloon that floats high in the air during the period of Garudotsavam.
