Legendary carnatic musician and composer Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna has passed away at his residence in Chennai on 22nd November 2016. and he was 86. He was the recipient of Padma Vibhushan, India's second-highest civilian honor, for his contribution towards Indian Art.
