The famed Chowmohalla Palace had bagged the prestigious UNESCO Award of Merit after managing to edge out many awe-inspiring and fascinating Heritage sites of the country such as Taj Mahal, Red Ford etc and other sites in 23 countries. This palace is one among the Nizam's Palace; Chowmahalla Palace is also known famous as Khilwath Palace which was in the centre of capital city Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh state.
