Ms. Kondaveeti Satyavathi, well-known Writer and Editor of Bhumika, a feminist magazine, is actively involved in Women welfare activities for the last two decades. She conducted a 2.5 hour class for 50 social workers at Bhumika office in Hyderabad on Thursday. She explained how Bhumika Helpline works, how to work with Police, about the Nirbhaya Act, Gender Discrimination Act, Domestic Violence Act etc. to provide knowledge and awareness. At the end of the class students promised that they will act responsibly when something goes wrong by saying 'I am Different'.
