Systematic encroachments on the Musi River at Chaderghat Causeway Bridge in Hyderabad. Land grabbers are dumping debris from dismantled buildings on the river bed and then selling this filled up lands at about Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000 per square yard. If the blocking of the water flow continues, the house around will be in great danger of being inundated when the river is in spate in monsoon season.
