The agitation against the division of Andhra Pradesh has hit the richest temple in the country — that of Lord Venkateshwara in Tirumala Tirupati. With RTC and private taxi unions joins the stir, pilgrims have to go through many hardships to reach Tirumala. Private vehicles wait for security check at Alipiri before proceeds to the hill shrine.
