Thousands of devotees thronged Hussein Sagar to witness the immersion of Lord Ganesha of Khairatabad, the tallest of all idols, on Tuesday. It took nearly 14 hours to transport the idol from Khairatabad to Hussein Sagar – a distance of less than two kilometers.
