Guys first and farmost thankyou all for the wishes.. on March 8th.. and news paper headlines flashing with historic women's day.. as the 33% W'reservation bill has been passed afte 13 years of struggle/debates/no motions... etc etc...


Is it just giving flowers/ads by cosmatics/ celebrity talk shows/all women oriented movies all the day/gifts and garlands... on this single dat in the year is enough?? Shouldn't women be given respect they deserve every day?

33% reservations???? silly i feel....:) In a country like ours where they say every human of any caste/creed/GENDER have equal rights? and still reservations...

Moderan towns and cities have are on the path of development and improved conditions for women atleast partially(i still dont feel secured coming home at 12!)... But how about women in interior sections of india??? Do anybody know this that most of the women in villages of UP, Bihar, madyapradesh, haryana etc. dont even know what they are living for.. They are nothing but kitchen dwellers or reproductive machines(especially if they have to produce for male child) and unpaid labour in their one homes/shelters...

I have been working with all sections of women.. and every one right from a teenager to old every body has seen an gender difference in their day to day life. To name few.. regarding weight/complexion/looks/education(the one they want to persue)/selecting grooms/working at odd hours/parentral pressures/compromising with the up an downs of emotional/physical/financial instabilities/ health problems/ relations/after marriage adjustments/ childcare/their joys and happiness.. every where women have to take a back seat ....

Though the business inc is supporting more and more female executives and CEO's still where is the real freedom from the society where she can breath an real air of equality..

Guys.. i do agree women are been giving enough of liberity and rights to prove what they can do but to reach it she has to go more hardships than man...

I have seen many girls who are been forced to marry with lots of adjustments just as their parents think a girl should get married and leave their house at the right age.. if she makes to 30 then it is some sort of inability to be a woman.. silly rt?...

There are many many more such issues in my mind.... but.. i still have hope for me(as a woman) and my fellow women as.. generations/decades/ages have passed but it is we women who are the sources of this civilization... and so let every women be saluted and looked with pride that she is an mother/daughter/friend/wife/ advisor/wellwisher/supporter/determined burning lamp and above all a creator of life...
