As I worked as professional(Orthopedic-Surgeon) outside India, I found many things which may not known to many of our population.Once we are away from our country, India is looked through us only , irrespective of region/cast/religion/race. Hence our responsibilities is almost many folds to expose our self in regard to our country as the highest degree of morality and unity. Unfortunately this simple thing is ignored by the most of our people and again started the same thing of regionalism. This was an old disease which Mahatma Gandhi also experienced in South Africa, as entire indian population was divided in Hindu/Muslim(so called they labeled themself as ARABS)/sikh/christian etc etc), But he was mahatma and was able to reunite them. Things have changed by the time as means of communication has expanded, and anybody can communicate freely by these. Hence to do our responsibility is keep unity intact whenever we are outside India. Second most important is the language. Arabs have only one language , i.e., Arabic. This is the language which make them united as well as in communicating freely with each other. And not only this but also the official national language is ARABIC. If we talk outside in English language other people know this and we are not comfortable in discuss freely. Most of our south Indian people doesnot know or unable to speak Hindi language which is the great barrier in communication even though we are from same country. This happened with me in communicating people of my own country when they got admitted in the hospital, following a serious accident. So my view is to present ourself as an integrated Indian with ease of communication when we are outside India. I think this is so important even inside India also , so that we can know each other very well to keep our integrity intact..............DR.S.K.JOSHI
