We are all at the center of the circle of the happiness cone. The radii are the paths (balanced acts of the life) to reach peace perimeter of the circle. The peace provides the easier path to happiness.

Happiness is the castle built over Peace foundation, which is to be derived or achieved by moving through balanced life acts. Happiness is possible only when mind is peaceful. Relaxed or peaceful parent only can laugh or enjoy {a real happiness} the child’s acts.

We need to focus (Diverting) the mind on the object/subject/activity to get the peace of mind. Taking tea with mind focused on to a paining issue cannot give positive emotion. Enjoying any thing/activity in the fullest form is happiness.

There are so many objects and subjects with which we try to derive happiness.
The list of such products/objects is ever growing with respect to time due to technological advances.

On the first day of bringing a luxury car, owner looks around for the neighbor to notice it and admire. Even if no one notices he blows horn to attract his or her notice. After few days the feeling of satisfaction is gone. It becomes a routine thing. The most exciting moments also become a talk of the past. The contact bound comfort is temporary.

After accomplishing the present one the person takes out his mind from it and focuses on to other unachieved desire. Unfulfilled desire brings psychological discomfort.

So we need to balance ourselves to limit the contact bound enjoyment with what we have and that too within the legal frame. Such balanced acts only can retain the peace of mind.

Another kind of joy is a non-contact bound, which is also temporary and is in the hands of the people around or society i.e. Affection, concern, appreciation, recognition or name or fame. Appreciation or recognition is sought by

Student from teacher and parents,
Employee from boss,
Wife from husband.

We, being social animals, train our minds to seek for such non-contact bound happiness. Failure to get it, leads to frustration.

Despite knowing the fact that objects, subjects and people around us are most volatile or fragile, we train out mind to anchor the peace of mind or happiness to them.

It is easy to make a person unhappy by stealing a most liked object or by not giving the most liked one or by simply passing a negative remark. To avoid such frustration, I should recognize, appreciate my self for the achievements and criticize for the errors and correct them.

Happiness comes and remains forever when the mind is anchored to the objects or subjects of eternity.

Eternal happiness giving objects or subjects are Sky, clouds, rivers, trees, sunrise or sunset etc. Some Indian saints anchor their minds to breathing alone, which are free of cost, having highest availability and cannot be robbed by others.

Is it not difficult to derive the pleasure from this act? Yes it is difficult but possible.

If I could derive happiness from smoking, which is a tough task, due to its first time presence in the throat irritates and ignites severe cough, followed by the cancer, why not from those I listed?

The best example to prove that we all have the ability to derive happiness from any thing or every thing is “GOD”.

Many of us are trained and hence able to derive the happiness from the beliefs, that is based on the non-existent person or his non-existent super natural powers. We are spending merrily money, time, energy, and sacrificing our lives too for the GOD.

History witnessed many wars that took place for the sake of GOD/religion. It is more than alcohol, cigarette or any other sedative.

We learn about the GOD may be at the age of 5 or so. May be in few years we get addicted to God and religion strongly to the extent of sacrificing our lives or killing others.

Though different GODs are there, the psychological comfort or security feeling derived from the worship is same for all the disciples.
The satisfaction depends upon the strength of belief but not on the nature or type or strength of God. That is the reason why all the believers of all religions are satisfied with their Gods.

I should understand my own Strength and weaknesses (inner forces). I have to improve the strength and reduce weakness with which I can over come threats and utilize the opportunities (external forces). Inner forces handling can manage external situations. Inner forces depend on both mind and body and can be called as personality of a person.

Personality is a set of responses driven by the instruction set, which is created by the individual through his/her perceptions on all life issues and is written in the mind. Since the individual writes it, he/she can rewrite them if the procedure is known. While writing this mind book, the individual opens a new chapter in it for each issue of life.
The errors that occur while writing a chapter become a weakness. Weakness is nothing but an erratic childhood program written in the mind. It has to be erased and the right one has to be stored in to reduce the weakness and increase the strength.

Defective hardware is easy to replace. Software errors are to be corrected through remote control mechanism that is described on the next page.

Before our quest for happiness begins, we should get rid off the sense of our temporary powers (money, position) and strive for permanent inner power. Remember that behind our power uniforms we are all weak biological units consisting of blood, bone and flesh.


REWRITING THE PROGRAM OR CORRECTING ERRATIC PROGRAM

It is not a one-time act. It needs to done repeatedly like rehearsals done many times for a better performance on the stage. Steps involved are

1. Identify the error and write a suitable instruction
2. Breathing exercise to see that body is tired
3. Jacobson relaxation to train the body to understand – stress and relaxation
4. Chanting self-hypnotic suggestions during trance.

Let every impulse, issue that strikes the mind go through logic and truth to decide the action. Identify negative thoughts and behavior.

Identify the most troubling habit or thought or concept. Remember our own wrong thoughts and concepts trouble us more than our human enemies.

Then make an instruction or suggestion to counter the trouble. The suggestion purpose must be to defeat the aggressive negative thought.

A Precise, meaningful, rhythmic antidote of the aggressive negative thought shall be the statement.

Do breathing exercise to see that body is tired.

Using Jacobson relaxation technique train the body to feel relaxation and stress.

At peak relaxation state – recall the situation and repeatedly SAY, DO & FEEL the self-hypnotic statement.

This rehearsal, though initially confined to an arranged environment it can be done everywhere, except the situations where mind need to be focused on to a task.

With this changed behavior dealing with external forces is easier. Since there is no post death life or paradise, learn laws of life before loss of life occurs to maximize the happiness on earth it self.

Question: what is the use of me having all power, facilities and position else where, where my parents, friends and relatives can’t see it?

Answer: You have attached your happiness to only known friends and relatives and to their appreciation. Search and recognize friends who are everywhere and even you can make them as your relatives.

Those who, during their child hood, move between parents, relatives and friends frequently will see the harshness in milder form there and can learn the art of adjustment or sharing and can enter harsh society with ease.

Mind frequency matching is most important than known, unknown, cast, region, religion, and nationality.
If two brothers from the same family are not comfortable with each other, where is the sanctity for the known people, relatives, caste etc. Another psychological aspect of comfort ability with known people and surroundings is in the biological sense of threat or sense of insecurity.

Question: Whether all achievements are for our near and dear to appreciate, for making us be more important among less important friends or is it above all these?
I could only feel that as a human being we need some bench marking/appreciation to grow to feel grown? Am I wrong?

Right from the childhood our perceptions and concepts undergo various transformations. An erratic child hood program gets changed under influence of the wider horizons of the society. As a child I was happy with chocolate but not now.

To enjoy the bright flower, sunrise, river, an innocent child's play - do any one require a companion, known friend or relatives?

Once you have the power of anchoring your mind to any kind of act and derive happiness from it, you can also de-anchor your mind from it and lock to any other subject or object of your choice (Attachment with Detachment facility).


Quest for such truth begins either

1). By Intuition-as happened in case of Buddha or
2). In the presence of Holy people or
3). When tragedy strikes.

In the present society.

1 is not there,
2 is rare
3 is every where.
