America Telugu Association # 23,652

Thanks to Telugus in United States! I am glad to let all of you know that we repeated our success story in America as well. As most of you know, Telugu movies top the list when you count the total number of movies made every year in India. Again, we topped the number of Engineering Colleges in India. Thanks to Chandra Babu and YSR governments! Similarly we, the great Telugu people topped the number of Indian Associations in America.

I just got a call from a friend saying that they are planning to start a new Telugu Association. I didn’t get surprised. My friend on the phone continued his speech and told me about the name of their Telugu association – TRETA – Trenton Telugu Association! I am sure one day you will hear about SPITA (Silver Spring Telugu Association) and ORCUTA which is nothing but Orange County Telugu Association. If the name sounds like “Korukutaa” for you, you are a useless fellow and should go back to India.

Most of you are already aware that ATA is on the verge of a split between Telangana and Rayalaseema Telugus or probably between Reddys and non-Reddies. Next step will be NATA (North Andhra Telugu Association). Already my Vizag friends are so desperate and feeling extremely uneasy.

Btw, there is a new trend going on right now. Starting a location or caste based Telugu Association is becoming an old fashion. The new mantra is to have a World wide, no-caste, no-region, no-political Telugu association. There is also another fashion – caste based associations: VANA and NRIVA etc. And another great way to unite our Telugu community is to build a Temple.

I am so proud to be a Telugu! We start a new Telugu association every month and it will get split after every x number of years where x depends upon various CRP ratings.

Another happiest and memorable thing that happened recently is when TANA was going on in Chicago on July 4th weekend, there was another Telugu association in Chicago conducted a program on the same dates! And all of you know about NATS in Florida anyway. What a powerful community we are! While entire America is under recession, we could afford to have three grand Telugu ceremonies in the country on the same dates. I mean think man… we are so powerful and highly smart community. As the great NTR dreamed, one day a Telugu guy will become the president of United States of America. No kiddin!

I don’t need to tell you that we Telugus gave a million dollar check to Hillary campaign during 2007 TANA and still today Hillary is under huge debt. There is no wonder why IRS and INS are so jealous about our Telugu community and raiding our Telugu companies unnecessarily.

I wish the American Telugu community all the best and I am hopeful of seeing 100,000th Telugu association in America very soon.

Btw, ATA is split now. The new organisation's name is NATA!

What a joke?!

Dear Murali Mukkusoooti,

Your analysis is partly correct and ATA and TANA are born out of caste compulsions and they invite every one or any one to serve them under their leadership. They also execute secret agenda to promote their caste over others, they also spit venom on other caste. But your Analysis on NRIVA is not correct and I don't know how you got idea about this private group. This is a private family of Vasavi followers and spreads a message Satyam Sheelam Ahimsa, these group is purely private one and your analysis and comments on this group is wrong. Its not a Telugu Association but involved in heavy community service in India. Its not wise to compare NRIVA with other public organisation which exist to promote their community in the name of Telugu community.
