TULASI-A WONDER HERB

TULASI - A WONDER HERB

I have compiled some of the Therapeutic and Medicinal Uses of Tulasi. I use to take Tulasi Tee with the combination of Pipper and Ginger for common Colds and Cough.

Tulasi is the HOLY Plant in the Hindu Culture. It is a symbol of purity, divinity and health. Tulasi is believed to be the incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi and therefore incomparable. It is part and parcel of Indian life and culture. The medicinal values of Tulasi are well known for ages and used in India for thousands of years. The plant growing in the vicinity of a house is said to have highly positive influence.

The homeland of the Tulasi is India, where it has been known from Vedic times. Later it spread to other countries. The plant is most commonly recognized as Krishna Tulasi and Rama Tulasi though there are a few other varieties of the plant.

The claimed benefits are far too many to be listed here. The leaves are used as a nerve tonic and also sharpen memory.

It is said to reduce blood sugar and cholesterol levels.

Tulasi is an important Ayurvadic Constituent of Cough Syrups and Expectorants

Tulasi is used for a variety of Medicinal applications such as Fever & Common Cold, Coughs, Sore Throat, Respiratory Disorder, Kidney Stone, Heart Disorder, Children's Ailments, Stress, Mouth Infections, Insect Bites, Skin Disorders, Teeth Disorder etc to name a few.

Tulasi is also used in Beauty Therapy.

It is well known that chewing Tubas a few leaves daily keeps a person away from Cold and Cough.Tulasi tea helps in reducing respiratory disorders.

Tulasi extraction with the combination of Honey and other Herbals is available as Ayurvedic Medicines in the market

We can prepare Tulasi Tea at Home. It is a simple preparation by boiling Tulasi Leaves in water.
