Principles
This service assumes there is integration between Luup and ITCL systems.
The end-user must be a bank customer with a Q-cash card as the funding source.
The service assumes there is integration between ITCL systems and end-user bank.
End-user bank will conduct KYC checks on the end-user during account opening.
ITCL must generate a shared ID (eg; the last 4 digits of the account number and phone number) by which Luup will identify registered customers. Luup holds only the following details in its system:
Shared ID, phone number, last 4 digits of card number, Bank ID and Beneficiary data (shared card ID, mobile number and possible alias).
ITCL sends registrations and profiles in one file for bulk registration or use web services for a single user registration
Localization data is pre-configured
Bank specific data, such as limits, fees, etc. is pre-configured
Basic Path
1.0End-user goes to their Local bank for registration. Local bank will, if necessary, conduct KYC checks.
1.ITCL will get from the Local bank the information about the end-user to be loaded into the system for registration. ITCL generates a shared ID for the user.
2.ITCL pass the registration information by bulk to Luup (and in special circumstances by single user registration using web services). The information contains Mobile number, PIN, Local bank ID, Shared ID and Beneficiary data (shared card ID, mobile number and possible alias).
3.Luup registers the information in their system and prepares an SMS welcome message, thus implicitly confirming the mobile number is correct for the end-user.
4.Luup sends an SMS to the end-user welcoming them to the Service and asking for verification of the mobile number and thus the service, and asking for a random PAN (2 digits).
5.End-user verifies mobile number by returning the SMS to Luup using the random PAN as a means of verifying that the mobile number is correct.
6.Luup matches the mobile number to the one in the system and sends a verification request to ITCL confirming that the random 2 digits in the PAN is correct.
7.ITCL receive the request and checks the random PAN in their system and responds with YES/NO back to Luup.
8.Luup activates the Service for the End-user.
9.Luup sends confirmation of successful activation to the End-user.
10.Luup sends confirmation to ITCL notifying that the mobile number is verified and service activated.
11.ITCL notifies Local bank that the mobile number is verified and service successfully activated.
