Karma and Astrology
One of the most common Questions that I face as an astrologer and I am sure other astrologers also face the same, “when two people are born in the same city, on the same date and time and when the horoscope chart will be identical- Will their life be exactly identical?
The classic Question of the fate of twins also belongs to this category. I am sure there were many others who were born on the same date and time as Indira Gandhi was born in Allahabad. But all of them did not become the Prime Minister of India.


Our Horoscope is a reflection of our Karmas in millions of our past lives.
What we achieve in this life is a combination of our horoscope (past life) and the effects of Karma in this life itself. It is easy to argue that Indira Gandhi became Prime Minister because she was the daughter of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. But there was Lal Bahadur Shastri who also became the Prime Minister of India in this life though he was born in a very poor family or in today’s context Barack Obama became the President of the United States of America even thought he was African Black in USA and was born in a very ordinary family. Can Indira Gandhi’s chart tell us that she would become the Prime Minister or Barack Obama the president? The answer is NO. What we achieve in this life is the combination of both past as well as present Karma and our efforts and free will. It is a mistaken notion that whatever happens in our life is pre- destined and our individual free will has no role to play. It is also a mistaken notion that our Karmic destiny has no role to play.
From our chart we can see some of these pre- destined conditions like a debilitated planet or an exalted planet. Whether we are Manglik or not? Kaal Sarpa Yoga etc. People often ask me how long I will be Manglik- the condition in the Natal Chart is applicable for our whole life. The most enigmatic of such pre- destined condition in our chart is a Kaal Sarpa Yoga formed by Rahu and Ketu in our chart. Do you know that 15th August 1947 midnight chart of India has Kaal Sarpa Yoga?
But none of the above matters as it is your pre determined luck that makes your winnings!
So, remember my dear readers:- whatever indicated in our horoscope it happens definitely almost. But due to our present karma ( good and bad deeds performed in the present janma ) also influences some more incidents ( good and bad ) in our present Janma. So, any astrologer can not predict some incidents which are going to happen with the result of your present good and bad karmas ( deeds ).
