On the eve of World Cancer Day (February 4th) Apollo Cancer Hospital has conducted a Cancer Awareness Program with the theme 'Prevent Cancer – Start now!'. The Cancer Awareness Walk was flagged off by former Mrs India Shilpa Reddy. Cine actor Sumanth, Minister Ms. D.K. Aruna, Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, IAS and Ms. Sangita Reddy have participated in this programme.
