Day 2 Delhi sightseeing tour: Breakfast at hotel. Proceed for a full day city tour of New Delhi, Starting with Qutub Minar - 72.5 metres high (237.8 ft) and can be conquered after a gruesome climb of 399 steps straight up. It all started with Qutb-ud-din Aybak, the first Muslim ruler of Delhi, trying to outdo the Minaret of Jam in Afghanistan . The mammoth work of architectural brilliance that kissed the sky was finished in 1193. Old Fort- also known as Purana Quila, built in 16th century on the lines of Mughal-Hindu-Afghan Architecture, built in Red Sandstone, in octagonal shape extended on 2.41 km and 33.5 m in Height. This Fort is believed to have been standing on the ancient site of Indraprasta (The Capital Town of Pandavas). Humayun''s Tomb - built by the emperor''s grieving widow, Haji Begum, in 1565 AD. Constructed with red sandstone and ornamented marks the beginning of a new tradition of ornate style, which culminated in the Taj Mahal of Agra, Red Fort - or Lal Quila - It is called so because of the red stone with which it is built, the Red Fort is one of the most magnificent palaces in the world, India Gate - built as a memorial to commemorate the 70,000 India soldiers killed in World War I, it is 160 feet high with an arch of 138 feet. Built from sandstone, the arch also houses the Eternal Flame, a gesture in memory of the Indian soldiers who laid their lives in the 1971 war, Presidents House and Connaught Place shopping centre of New Delhi. For those who wish to witness the history of Indian capital, we recommend the Sound and Light show at Red Fort in the evening. We may also suggest a sumptuous dinner at Al Karims restaurant near Jama Masjid. Day 4 Agra-Jaipur (235 kms/ 4 hrs): After breakfast, start journey to Jaipur - widely known as the ''Pink City'', Jaipur is colour washed pink to welcome Prince Albert, the consort of Queen Victoria of England who visited India in 1883 A.D. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri - a World Heritage Site is the perfect example of an Emperors tribute to a saint. Built in reverence of the Sufi saint Salim Chishti way back in 1571 the Fatehpur Sikri is a seamless blend of Islamic and Hindu architecture. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use. Visit Albert Hall and Birla Mandir. Central Museum or the Albert Hall lies in the Ram Niwas Garden. It is a vast and verdant garden housing a zoo, a greenhouse, an aviary, a museum and a sports ground. Maharaja Sawai Ram Singh II built it in 1868 as a relief project for his famine struck subjects.The Albert Hall has been modelled on the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and is a fine example of Indo-Saracenic style of architecture. The hall was named after Albert, the consort of Queen Victoria’s husband. Albert’s son the Prince of Wales (later Edward VII) laid the foundation stone in 1876. Day 6 Jaipur-Mandawa (203 kms/ 6 hrs): After breakfast, drive to Mandawa, on arrival transfer to the hotel. Later visit Mandawa, founded 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh and still the home of his descendants has beautiful frescoes, havelis and mansions. Mandawa castle one of the finest castles of Rajasthan, is now a hotel and house of collection of armouries, costumes of ancestors, canons from 1820 ancient coins, numismatic collection and many other interesting items, preserved in a museum. Day 7 Mandawa-Bikaner (164 kms / 4 hrs): After breakfast proceed for a morning drive to Bikaner. Bikaner is named after its founder Rao Bikaji in 1488. But long before this, the city was trade centre on the caravan routes from Africa and West Asia. Bikaner’s dominant features are rippling sands and abundant sunshine. The city stands on an elevation, enclosed by a 7 kms wall, which can be entered from 5 gates. Bikaner City is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and mosque. Founded by Raja Rai Singh the fort is distinguished by its long range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial windows of varying designs. You will visit the Lalgarh Palace, the museum, Bhanda Sagar Jain and Deshnoke Rat temple while touring Bikaner. Overnight stay at hotel.

The origins of Jaisalmer go back to the 12th century, when Rawal Jaisal abandoned his old fort at Ludarwa and laid the foundation of a new city. Visit the magnificent fort, the Patwon Ki Haveli (Mansion) and Salim Singh Ki Haveli, with their carved balconies and brackets, which are supreme examples of the art. Day 10 Jaisalmer-Jodhpur (200 kms / 5 hrs): After breakfast drive to Jodhpur. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 11 Jodhpur: After a relaxed breakfast proceed for city sight seeing tour of Jodhpur. Jodhpur - the stronghold of the fierce Rathore clan was founded in 1459 by Prince Jodha. Perched on a 150m high hill its sprawl is the most formidable and magnificent fort in Rajasthan-The Mehrangarh Fort. Rao Jodha founded it in 1459 but subsequent rulers of Jodhpur have also added to it over the centuries. A meandering road leads to the from the city 5 kms below. There are seven gates, which include Jayapol meaning victory built by Maharaja Man Singh to commemorate his victories over Jaipur and Bikaner armies. Fattehpol also meaning victory gate was built by Maharaja Ajit Singh to mark the defeat of Mughals. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph, built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II around 1899 and Umaid Public gardens. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 12 Jodhpur-Kumbhalgarh (235 kms/ 5 hrs): After breakfast, drive to Kumbhargarh. Kumbhalgarh Fort (also called Kumbhalmer or Kumbalgarh) is a Mewar fortress in the Rajsamand District of Rajasthan state in western India. Built during the course of the 15th century CE by Rana Kumbha, and enlarged through the 1800s, Kumbhalgarh is also a birthplace of Maharana Pratap, the great king and warrior of Mewar. Occupied till the nineteenth century, the fort is now open to the general public as a museum and is spectacularly lit for a few minutes each evening. Built on a hilltop 1100 metres in altitude, Kumbhalgarh fort has perimeter walls that extend 36 kilometres in length, erroneously claimed to be the longest in the world after the Great Wall of China. The second longest is actually the Great Wall of Gorgan in Iran. The frontal walls are fifteen feet thick. Kumbhalgarh has seven fortified gateways. Over 360 temples are within the fort, 300 ancient Jain and the rest Hindu. The vista from the palace top typically extends tens of kilometers into the Aravalli Range. It is widely believed that the sand dunes of the Thar desert can be seen from the fort walls. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 13 Kumbhalgarh-Udaipur (86 kms/ 2 hrs): Breakfast at hotel, Complete the rest of the sightseeing tours in Kumbhalgarh and drive to Udaipur. After a sumptuous breakfast transfer to Udaipur, an oasis in the desert state of Rajasthan enroute visiting Pushkar. Pushkar boasts temples, though few are as ancient as you might expect at such an important pilgrimage site, since many were deserted by Aurangzeb and subsequently rebuilt. The most famous is the Brahma Temple, said to be one of the few temples in the world dedicated to this deity.
