Hello Jaya garu, This is a very nice reading.Unfortunately I could guess the justification of the title in the first few lines but that has not stopped me from enjoying the read thanks to the beautiful style of narration adopted by you. Regarding your reaction to the so called 'controversy', I would say its uncalled for because all the readers are equally matured enough to understand the context this was written or it was supposed to mean. You will always have a one or two odd replies but the best way to deal them is to ignore them rather than reacting and giving an unncessary attention to which they dont deserve. Some people fail to relish the subtle messages given in the story and show more interest in reading between lines and try to invent new repulsive conclusions. The best part with people like you is that you motivate more and more fence sitters(thinking of writing)to plunge into it.(may be I am one of them) Looking forward to reading more from you.

Hi all, Before somebody else blowout all over me. I decided to explain the title choosen. It has nothing to do with the living in relation-ships of same-sex in US or anywhere else. The senstive part of the story is the lead-character is potrayed as a person who is in a situation where there is nobody to go to. So, she needs a motherly-affection/friend/support. I am sure, this story was not that controvertial that the author is made to give an explanation. But I intend to explain it.

CM gaaru, I didn't mean to disrespect you. And in case if you felt it then I sincerely appologize. Thanks again for your comments. Thanks Telugugirl for trying to explain the issue more clearly.

CM gaaru, your comment is little bit too strong. She just described one bad day, not that it is going to be the same every day. You are suggesting women work because they are greedy. Who does not like financial independence? I have quit work for a short while in between and noticed a lot of difference in the attitudes of the people around me. I still feel the breadwinner gets lot of importance in the indian families and there is nothing wrong if the woman wants a little bit of a share in it. About housework, I think we indians are pampered by all the servants and our mothers. We should appreciate american society in that regard. Right form kids, they learn to cleanup after themselves. It is nothing wrong to develop such habits in your family. Basically women should stop trying to be superwomen and enjoy their life too by sharing the responsibility with the whole family.

Kamalji Gaaru, Thanks that you liked the flow of the story. Just an FYI...I do not support any kind of vaadam...starting from 'abc'..vaadam to 'xyz'..vaadam. My story reflects so many facts that American working women face. That's all.
