| Dear Sir,
I am astonished to read the article how beautifully you are presenting your wrong openions.
If this is a wrong agreement why Ex Presidant Abdul Kalam support this?
First of all our proposed Atomic power plants are based on thorium but not uranium. As of now the technology is under process in BARC to develop fast breader reactors for thorium and the current uranium based reactors will run on the imported Atomic fuel.
I don't know about the cost of setting the Atomic plants, but as I read from the magazines the atomic plants are cheap when compared to the other source of power generation. You wrote about the setting up of wind power, and solar power. The wind power has its own limitations and solar power is very costly and the photo voltaic cells used in the process are very costly and the storage should be done in Batteries which will again increase the polution whether it is a lithium or led batteries. How much solar power you can generate to run a factory like BHEL or Rel Petro? The solar power is good for domestic use but not for industrial use. You have to understand this. Your other source of power generation is thermal. Don't you know how much carbon gasses the thermal power plants will produce and how expensive they they are.
And the government is encouraging the small scale hydel power projects even with the oppositions agoni, obstacles, legal battels etc. Please leave your anti Congress stand and try to think as a comman man in this country.
