A very sensible article. There are two reasons for the gulf between Telangana and Andhra people. One is language and the other is ecnomic exploitation. Andhra Brahmins were primarly responsible for injecting Sanskrit into telugu starting from Nannaya. Andhra Brahmins migrated from North India and their mother tounge was Sanskrit. They ruined the very fabric of Telugu identity and unity.
During the NTR and Naidu terms, Kammas bought Telangana land dirt cheap using the inside information. You travel around Hitech city or Outer ring road, all the land is owned by Kamma movie people. Akkineni Nagarjuna is worth 3000 Crores and owns 1000s of acres. Now YSR selling or giving away Telangana land free to big corporations and pocketing the money through Marutias Banks.
After 1969 telangana agitation, Andhra Lobby and Vishalandra Communists deliberately promoted Naxal voilence to destabilize Telangana. Over 10,000 Telangana youth and 1000s of innocent people died due to misplaced Maoist ideology. Feudal system existed all over India before Indepedance, yet Andhra's made Telangana the battle ground to grab telangana jobs, land, water and resources. Hope enlighted people like you speak freely all the wrong-doings, may be one day we may come together and live as brothers and sisters again.
