Articles: My Thoughts | I wanna sing a song - India is Shining! | |
| I appreciate RAO's efforts and agree with Sridhar.
But i had an insteresting argument from a friend of mine, who emphasizes that the riches lie in secondarry sector of employment, where we take the raw materials, process it and produce the end product (ofcourse sell ti & make money), but not in primary sector(like agriculture, fisheries, wildlife) where we produce the raw materials.
her argument is ...one reason for poverty is the huge participation of Indian population in primary sector of employment, rather than in secondary. She supports her argument based on the fact, that when you have the poer of secondary sector market, a lot of countries would be very willing to trade in strategic relationships, rather than the importance given to the primary sector countries.
This i feel is grim reality, and i cannot deny but accept it. Primary sector though critical, for survival of humankind, is very much looked down upon, and is the most lower edge of the social status in employment.
From this view, i believe the progress in India, on secondary secto can only be substantiated, if we can put it to good use on gaining the strategic advantages, of that sector, before it is very long, and the markets are stale.
what do you say?

As long as there is no development in agriculture it wont be stand, all this development should compare with Agriculture. One thing that we should not forget, 'Annadhata Sukibhava'.
There is almost 70% of our economy is depends on agriculture, directly or indirectly. So It is not a Real Devlopment until it reaches to former or a common man.
