Posted by: Mr. Kishore Reddy Palle At: 24, Apr 2004 10:06:27 AM IST I just read 'jeevani' story. haa..... haaa... i donot know what to say, you gave long stiches to my heart to mouth. soo... i couldnot talk... I forgot all my words... but anormouse unexplainable feeling
couple of seconds I became a Jee...vani...
My father( RTD. Justice) has got mentally retarted sister (18 years).
he loved his uncles daughter to marry. his uncle doesnot like to give his daughter to my father. they choosen other man. my father married a beatuful lady who came from very poor family. my father and his mother used my mother(13 years) as maid servant to his siter. There is no love and affcetion are any rewards to my mother in their home. only awards are slaps, domination, criticism about her poverty, hostility.
my brother borned at the age of 14 years old of mother, then me.Mother always concentrated on my Aunti, almost 24 hours a day. That metally retarted girl(my aunti)always pulled my hair if I go near her. she died soon. after 8 years my brother died with Apendicities burested in the school. he died in the guntur hospital. my mother went in shock. there were no one to show a bit sympathy, they negelcted me in taking care of me, then my sister borned.my mother continuing life untill now as toungless servent maid..... almost she became a mentally retarted......today... spending life in between fourwalls silently....

Posted by: Mr. HAYAGREEVA MURTY Rachuri At: 19, Apr 2004 5:19:34 PM IST A very moving story. Thx to TP for publishing it.
Posted by: Snow White At: 19, Apr 2004 3:40:31 PM IST fantastic.
so far , there appeared many stories in TP.Com . but , story subject , narration were good. thare didn't appear any proper healthy msg. in any one of these stories.
they just remained only as a story .
but , here , we happily find , thr'out the story , a dedication and a strong msg.that we have to encourage mentally retarded and challenged children.
the writer also succeded with a great success in the child winning an international award.
goodone indeed.
many more pl.

There a number of slow learners & mentally retarded children in this world .If parents can shower love & affection on them & treat them as special children ,threr will not be any problem. Jeevani became a good painter as she was encouraged by the teacher & mother.
