| Very good Prasanthiji,
But people of India are too responsible for this state of affairs as they send these kind of politicians.
Posted by: Mr. Vachaspathi V At: 6, Dec 2005 1:04:15 PM IST Its very good to comment Indian Politics. But real thing is not with politicians. The poeple who vote them should be responsible for the present state of Indian. Indian Politics are like a mirror to the present day values to the truth and respect to age. With so called majority population are not even comming to vote, things cannot change. Vote must be made compulsory rather than a right, if the present day dire situation has to change.
Posted by: Mr. Sangamesh M At: 24, Oct 2004 10:32:57 AM IST Political parties are like contracters submitting tenders for a contract. No holds are barred in the competition to get the contract.Individual ambition to occupy seats of power is stronger than interest in the country. Without hurting any particular individual, it can be uncontroversially stated that none of them who contest the elections is truly patriotic. The electoral system has to be changed. It means that the constitution has to be amended. But by whom? again by the same lot of elected representatives. so no hope.

Now the next scene in furure will be rahul gandhi marrying a colombian Girl friend he has and later the same scene arises weather a colombian should become the prime minister ir not...These are all the utter shame full things in indian history and the congress party will surely repent for all these.

Posted by: Mr. M Kumar N At: 4, Jun 2004 2:14:36 PM IST Ms. Prashanthi is totally one-sided lady. Always think that there is another side for everything. Two sides of a coin are not same. Her narration is totally narrow-minded. Tomorrow if her husband becomes the premier of another country and the people reject him since he is not born in that country though the contribution made by her husband family is bountless, then what her feelings will be ? Just because Sonia is an Italian born lady she (Ms Prashanthi) feels that Sonid is unfit. Sonia married Rajiv, became an Indian by marriage to Rajiv, gave birth to two children, and still she is a foreigner ? great shame to people criticising her on her citizenship. Remember the supreme court declared that Sonioa is an Indian and there is no appeal against this by any individual including Ms Prashanthi. If this is so then why nobody contested this when the supreme court deliverd the judgement ? Sonia is an Indian and she will be the P.M. of this country if not today, tomorrow and it is sure.
Posted by: Mrs. Snehalatha Madhavakrishna ReddyBScBEd schoolteacher At: 31, May 2004 4:40:02 PM IST yes ,prasanthi u r true at ur points regarding our politicians and their conduct in public life. They never think of dignity and welfare of our country.irrespective of any party ,most of leaders were hungry for power and money. For the greed of money and power ,they are ready to go any extent and to do anything to capture what they think.they lost all morality themselves while critcising the others.one more thing here we have to remember abt our democracy.our democracy is paved the way for criminals to elect to highest legislative body of this country. The judidciary system is too slow in clearing cases before its jurididction and the law and order machinary become the tool in the hands of the people who are in the power.no system has been restctring those people who openely violates law and order from grabing the power.and after coming to what can we expect abt good governance from them?

Posted by: Mr. HAYAGREEVA MURTY Rachuri At: 28, May 2004 9:40:10 AM IST Politics and life are not so predetermined things. Any changes that arises in the soceity need to be appreciated and corelated to establish a smooth functioning of so called Governament. While doing so one has to deal all varieties in the soceity where you can not eliminate a single variety; illeterate may not browse internet but they have their own source of information; Hence go back to people instead of isolating from them and understand that you are just a media to convey differebt opinions among the varieties; What is done is not a 100 % coverage ; Just it's a part of it.
Appreciate the things and welcome changes; Also give a strong hand for the challenges infront of the existing Govt; Election is a just formality; That part is over ; Now what's required and what's to be done after election is important
