Articles: My Thoughts | Nonviolence | |
| You wrote 'Killing an animal for food is no sin because it is nature’s dispensation that man shall be a predator.' Swamijis in India doesn't think so. They all promote peace and vegetarianism. We really don't know that if GOD wanted us to be a predator.
Even though Sri Bhagavan Satya Sai hails from a Kshatriya family(I knew this after I met Sri Satya Sai's brother's Son-in-law in Atlanta), I don't think any kind of meat is served in his Ashrams. Why? Because, he even thinks killing an animal for food is SIN and he is considered Living GOD by millions. Did you ever look at the pictures of JESUS holding a goat in his hands? What does that tell us?

Posted by: Mr. HAYAGREEVA MURTY Rachuri At: 3, Aug 2004 11:35:40 AM IST It's something about nature where evry one follow the nature; I think we can't go against nature.
1. No pains no gains; Mother has to take pains to deliver a baby;
2. Kiling is in the nature; This is what Lord Krishna explains to Arjuna in Geeta. Evrything has life in this nature; Even rock grows and gives water.
3. Nature is always balanced by killing and regeneration. Now the problem is more generation from the mankind causing much harm to the nature and other habitat.
