Posted by: Mr. Srinivas Noojilla At: 16, Jul 2004 11:37:11 AM IST Good one Mouthika.
Madhu Kumar, I don't think anybody in US would live that far and drive to work every day. When you mention west and the distance in Km, I hope you are talking about Europe.
Posted by: Mr. Srinivas Turlapati At: 7, Jul 2004 11:28:36 PM IST Good Collection; Ofcourse in India we don't have such roads suitable for high speeds either motor cars. In the west accomodation is a big problem; Employees has to stay away min 300 km. Any American luxury model is above 2400 cc capacity with full options( air conditioning and heating). Europe cars like Mercedes, Jaguar and BMW they are designed for even more than 200 KM to reduce travelling time. In a day nearly 4 hours are spent inside a car excluding the duty ( Office)hours.
For our roads 1000 cc is enough due to moderate weather conditions. Mercedes model K 180 Kompressor was failed in India due to low capacity which was upgraded to K 200 .
