Mrs.Prasad, as you put it, Friendship is cent per cent Aatma bandham only. Hence, it won't demand any obligations. It is a free, happy, and Eternal feeling. But relationship (bandhutvam) by its name itself is binding, either by one's blood or spouse's blood. Since blood is a physical phenomenon, it involves prejudices, ups, downs, rich, poor etc.,
