Articles: Devotion | Let us understand our religion | |
| Hello Sarat,
This is a good attempt in finding the truth. In my feelings surely there will be one God.On the way to find true God i will raise some intresting things.Lord krishna is saying we can lie in some situvations.Other hand The Bible saying we should not lie in any situvation. If God is same and coming in diffrent forms, why his words having contrdiction. So God is one his way is one.And for him no reason to represent in forms sun, moon and stars. Those are hand works of God.We need to find true God.Make furthur study on this way.

I glanced through your article.
Please appreciate the fact that the counter-theory against the theory of 'Aryan invasion' is picking up momentum. I hope you have an open mind to go through these theories. Even the 'Dravidian-based' thinking on Indus valley & Mohonjodaro Harappa civilisations is taking interesting turns. You should have read about these things definitely, if you are a serious reader.
You need not simply believe the dictates of our erstwhile rulers or the 'mental conditioning'platitudes of 'socialistic' thinkers.
Let us not jump to conclusions based on one-side versions and prejudiced writings!
Any way, yours is a good attempt.

If you have seen my article, i have given clear references from where i got each paragraph. The things you find in discussion forums obviously will look similar to what this article is. Because what ever the construction of article is, the theme is same and intention is same. Remember if you spend some of your intellectual capital behind writing something, you cannot call it plagiarism if you clearly mention where you got each subtopic from. Anyways im happy atleast my article (compilation) made you do some research on this topic. Thats what i wanted, i wanted u to know that truth. Keep up the good work.
Posted by: Mr. Sarat kalyana sastry pochampalli At: 2, Jun 2005 7:01:39 AM IST Mr Kiran, i knew i would get this kind of response from people like u. Im ready to answer each and every question you ask but with an attitude! Dont jump to conclusions. What contradictions are u talking about? Your mental status can be understood by reading your article http://www.telugupeople.com/discussion/article.asp?id=18308 You mentioned muslims, britishers etc etc conquered india in this article. Can you go back a little and tell me who were the ones who conquered india and are still major part of the system? Its the aryans.I have nothing against these people, i just want you guys to treat us like human beings, we dont want any caste system to divide among ourselves. If our religion tells us to divide among ourselves, it cannot be God's religion. You guys basically are in the system to rule the system. Please treat us the way you want to be treated.
Posted by: Mr. Sarat kalyana sastry pochampalli At: 26, May 2005 8:57:30 PM IST Dear friends, thanks for ur comments. Gracy garu, as you mentioned, im not a brahmin, because of my knowledge abt hinduism my collegues and friends call me sastry, my writings are inspired by research done by some people on indian history related to religion. I have an article coming up on christianity for you, its not comprehensive yet to be posted.
Mr. VM VM garu if it makes you feel better by saying i donot understand the essence of vedas so be it, i already apologised in my article if i had hurt anyone. As i mentioned in my article, vedas bave been in acess and mainly understood by aryans and i had to sit with Sanskrit speaking people to get translations of various interesting things from vedas to make this article. Some of the sentences were inspired by some other's findings which i quoted.
Sowmya garu, thanks for your reccomendations. In my view Ramayana and mahabharata are no more than best selling stories like 'Lord of the rings'. The only difference is we pray to the characters. Again, your comments here are inspiration for me for my next article so keep posting.
Im willing to sacrifice time to understand what made you write a specific comment on my article. Thanks to u all.
Posted by: Mr. Sarat kalyana sastry pochampalli At: 24, May 2005 0:51:53 AM IST hi
it was a well written and well researched article.
i can't comment on ur philosophy as everybody has his/her own one.
while going through this one, i was reminded of the prefaces of ranganaayakamma's 3 volumes titled-raamaayana vishavriksham.
the prefaces in each volume are around 150 pgs long and they are comments on various related issues. try to read them if possible.
good luck! keep writing!

I totally agree with what you wrote, Idol worshipping is biggest sin, we cannot worship someone whom we created. Just imagine, you created something and someone else puts his name on it, how would you feel? Dont associate human creations with God.
