Articles: My Thoughts | Indian Education System - A School Teacher's version | |
| Jyotsna gaaru,
Though I didnt read Ur article fully(since I didnt have enough time), I wanna add one more point that Indian education system is "JUST-IN-CASE" where as US education system is "JUST-IN-TYPE". The syllabus nee to be changed in such a way that it is with the latest trends which must be aiming N towards the Industry standards.

while ur analysis on the present education system is cent percent true,we must also analyse the other side coin. why people r crazy to run after so called public schools or some monopolised schools/sending their wards away by some kilometres by bus or auto/paying thousands of donoation. teaching in an average school is far far better than some supposed to be good schools. apart parents want 'gold star' in their ward's progress report from LKG. so tuition.where is freedom for these children.
which parent has time to inquire in the school about his child's progress/or any grievances of child. Parents who capable of explain the subjects have no spare time to spend for their children. so the pity

As you said, Morals and human values should be taught as understandable to them. Examination system also need to be changed for the better. How many Leakages, Mass Copying !! How I wonder every school in our country be on par with the standards of Santhiniketan, Tagore's Open Air School.
