This article is very interesting. Many people in our day to day life say things in a dilly dolly way and they do not want again to be very clear in what they say. Because they can not manipulate tomorrow if they make it very clear. we face such kind of people in our society and even in work places. Where there is politics, there communication is generally manipulated. But I believe if anyone wants to have smooth and successful career or happy life style, they should be assertive as you said. What you believe and what you want to communicate should be very clear and straight forward. Free and Frank communication is quite healthy for any society.
If people brake the communication barriers and try to talk to each other with clean and clear vision, most of the head aches can be avoided.
Anyway your article is very educative.
