| Dear sir!!
I am your fan since I read ur novel PRARDHANA when I was studying seventh class.Actually my dad insisted me to read that.Now I am 29 years old ,mother of 7 year old son .We came to Portugal 5 years back,very soon buying a flat here.My husband is a chemical engineer,and I work as an administrator in a debt management company.In the beginning we faced many problems because of the language.I could not get a job for 3 years,later fortunatley I got this job in this British company who is having its branch(actually it is outsourcing) here in Lisbon.Now my question is about my son's education...
Even though there are some international schools ,they are not at all affordable.so we joined him unwillingly in Portuguese state school(government),we were a bit skeptical about the standard.Now he is second class,he is good in his studies,and is getting good remarks on whole.Thankfully the new government elected last year, announced that English will be taught from third class(previously it was from fifth class).we were teaching him English at home from his fifth year,and thanks to cartoon network and CBBC prime,now he can understand English well,and can also speak to a certain extent.
But my only concern is ...we will be visiting India by the end of this year(after 3 years),and I am afraid that he would compare himself with the children in India who are studying in English medium and develop inferiority complex.And also some parents may behave very stupidly telling on his face that he cannot speak English like their kids.I dont want his tender heart to be hurt.
Please guide me Sir!How can I prepare him for the upcoming challenge,What should I do to develop his English,How can I develop his self confidence.(as of now,I always tell him that my colleagues speak Good English than me even though they studied every thing in portuguese (english as one subject)and knowledge is important no matter in which language we gain it,we joined him in Taekwondo too to develop self confidence)
Your writings always had great impact on me .I regard you not only as my favourite writer but also as the best parent and genius.
Please guide me sir!!Please tell me what more I can do to bring up my son as a responsible,kind,confident,intelligent person. I will be waiting for ur reply,

Hello,
I dont feel proud that i m an andhrite.I've been to tamilnadu kerala and other states and i m fascinated by thier culture and language but somehow i dont feel the same with my motherland and mothertongue.I strongly feel nowadays telugu is very bad and unspeakable and unbearable as well.But the media keep insisting me to like and speak my own language which i really dont like.Is it only poriginti pullakoora type or am i overreacting.

Hi Veeren,
I want to know?Is it necessary that a person should have an aim in life.People always tell me that i should have an aim in life where as i believe in the other way around.I dont set my self any aims in life.I never did in my life so far.Do i have to set aims for the sake of society or people around me.Am i abnormal?
