Complaining to Yahoo or Hotmail???
Infact, that will be another irresponsible thing. Strictly speaking, there is no way to elimiate the spam completely. Just think logically. I know some companies block emails from some particular domains completely. Or they only receive emails from some particular domains. Infact, they might miss some important emails. But they are ready take that risk. But, Yahoo, Hotmail cannot do that - if they do, millions of emails will bounce back.
Your opinion on Internet users is totally wrong... they are not just Students, Doctors, Engineers - almost every single person in the developed countries use the Internet - and in India, almost every school going person is using the net. Atleast 0.001 percent of these guys are really really bad guys and they are more than enough to create all sorts of problems.
I don't think we can get rid of spamming completely. But, we can get rid of viruses completely if we take proper precautions and use anti virus softwares (ofcourse, they are expensive for individuals).
