My point is to tell how an American may think about NRI. Then how an NRI is going to react !? This write-up is based on my 7yrs of observation and interaction with Americans and their mind set. And at the same time I followed Indian news papers very closely, try to compare both these countries and problems, people mind set , politics , problems in India etc... So I end up decided I should do something about it. Some thing to my country. How I am going to do is in GODs hand -

Sorry for writing in English. Your thoughts are right , but they represent only one angle of the society. In any society your analysis of the society depends on, in what angle you are looking and what kind of environment you are exposed to. For example. 1. If you are a black poor person, lived and raised in Lousiana , your perseption of American society is different. I have personally experienced, a rampant corruption in Lousiana in some cases worse than our own India, it does not mean American society is corrupt. 2. If you are working day-in and day-out in typical rich&white Texans who are raised and educated in christian way and believes everybody else is inferior to them , your perseption changes In any society there are good things to talk about and there are very very bad things to talk about. It all depends on what kind of personal experience we have experienced and from what angle we are looking the society. But anyway Americans are no inferior in shooting themselfs in their own foot , just like Indians , they have their own short comings and as I notice they seems to be heading towards downward path. for example: ridiculous healthcare costs, debt ratios, bringing religion into politics&everyday life, business controlled politics etc. But again, my perseption may only represent one angle of the society. One can argue other way.

Revive India garu, Good article. Keept it up. You have rightly pointed out our (Indians) short comings from an american's view point. Yes, wee need to learn good things from others, indeed. Let us not be hypocratic in admitting our narrow mindedness. We should introspect ourselves honestly before criticising americans for their attitude towards us. Nevertheless, of our great culture, traditions and education how many of us did really think to give back to the society, which made us what we are today. How many of us think beyond their selfishness. Did we really have a spirit of natinalism that is shown by an american?. Let us be honest and look back to find out answers for these questions.
