hello Manjari, I accept with your point on 'change is welcome, but for a constructive purpose'.But these days because of the globalization everywhere men/women are treated the same way.You started well by structuring your views equally for men/women, but through out the article you were more focussing on women who can also be changed according to the situation and so on.It would have been better, if you had given importance about both genders equally. A change always comes when a person try to imitate someone or if he/she is lacking out of something from his partner. It would not be the case if we are are trying to imitate westerners about the change. To list out a few, the business suites we wear, the english pronounciation everyone speak, the presentations they follow or even the culture i.e discotheques where you can find women the best competitors these days. I agree to you Mrs.Manjari that a change is welcome, but I personally feel that he/she who knows the responsibility of their family will always be in their limits because we are Indians, We are attached to sentiments and relationships.

Thank you Mr. Kalluri. Your comments give a boost to keep writing something good. The outflow of thoughts gives us a kind of satisfaction of expressing ourselvels and we feel that we are heard. This website is really good for people like me who want to write but become busy in day to day lives with office, home and other responsibilities. I used to write when I was in my college and before marriage. Some of them were published from Chandamama to other monthly magzines. But I stopped because of the so called business in life. This website gives us a chance to read and write articles and other things. By the bye, if you do not mind, a personal question. I have a classmate Kalluri Sarada and her sister Lalitha. If you do not mind, can you tell me are they related to you? I lost touch with them because we are all scattered after studies. If you know them, please let me know. Thanx

Both of your articles are thought-provoking. They give a nice advice to those guys who are proud of aping the westerners. A day will come in everybody's life, when he/she realises that beastly pleasure (actually it is a pain) alone is not the ultimate end for human beings. 'Unwept, unhonoured & unsung' disappearance from this worldly scene will be very pathetic. Afterall, what is the use of all these riches, when there is none to shed a tear for a person on his last day? Those tears comes from genuine love. Any way, let us not condemn western culture. They too have very good points worth emulation.
