| I don't know who is responsible for the situation as mentioned in the mail, as we see today. But if anybody feels this is not good, I believe he/she can make a difference, not only by disseminating the info but also by ACTING on his/her beliefs.
I am just wondering, how many people in Bangalore have attended to the 'The Terryfox run' ( www.terryfoxrunbangalore.com ) held in bangalore on Sunday, and how many have participated in the events that took place earlier and again in jan this year to raise funds for families of the Kargil heroes.
Everybody can make a difference, whatever the purpose is. ONLY and ONLY when you ACT on what you THINK and BELIEVE.
Definitely people love the game of Cricket than anything else. Nothing can compete with this. People doesn't even bother about their health, studies, ...what not. I am just wondering, can I expect THESE people to bother about their social responsibilities and obligations. Cricket is more than an obsession for MOST Indians.
And no wonder, all the media joins the chorus, sometimes sing a new song for it. Unfortunately, not even 1% of the revenue generated out of cricket goes to any, atleast desparetely needed sections of the country. Nobody need to detach/hate cricket. But try to make sure that it HELPS INDIA GROW.
Because, CRICKET is the only one, I believe, which makes INDIA UNITE. This is the only one that makes their caste,creed,religion and regions irrelevant.
I truly believe, Everybody can make a difference, whatever the purpose is. ONLY and ONLY when you ACT on what you THINK and BELIEVE.
