Vakulabharanam Krishnamohanarao:
Your writings are facts only. But remember the total population of BCs in A.P. is 76.4% as per the Records of the Govt of A.P. It includes the living population of nearly 157 BC Castes and communities. This is the biggest majority of vote bank in A.P. But you have missed the point that the BCs were able to form the Govts in T.N. just because it is a single group (DMK)that was the main opposition to the ruling forward caste dominated Congress Party there. Similarly the case is same in UP and Bihar also. Though SP & BSP opposed each other in the elections, they were able to be united and win over the elections and ruled the state for sometime. In Bihar it is again the same case. But for your information in A.P. the case is different. Every BC case has a party of his own and they never join together to form a single party like DMK in Tamilnadu. The DMK might have been split into ADMK but still the BCs alone are the rulers in ADMK also. In the MGR Cabinet (MLA/MP)90% of the members are BCs only. In the Cabinet headed by M Karunanidhi in his DMK Govt almost all the members are BCs only. Nowhere in the country this is the situation right from 1967. Congress Party was not able to form the Govt till today there, right from June 1967. It is impossible to form their party;s govt even in days to come in. The BCs in Tamilnadu have grown into a vast majority and almost all the VCs of Universities are from these BC castes only (unlike A.P.). Similarly many BC castes have grown in their strength and shape and formed their own parties today and now contesting elections on their symbols and are winning the elections for Assembly/Parliament. Since there is no such single party for the entire BCs (irrespective of their individual castes)it is practically most impossible for them to form Govt in A.P. for another one hundred years. It is a challenge and a bet for one billion american dollars. If you need to have a email discussion please contact over email ID : sidali@rediffmail.com and I welcome it from your goodself. Regards.
