Reservations are given where it is felt that it becomes extremely difficult for certain subjects to avail their share. The reasons are deep rooted. For instance in a bus, separate seats are allocated for women, as it is found men (generally) elbow their way and can take more than their share of seats.

How long can a social group be protected by reservation? What is the timeline for its removal? Should "timeline for removal of reservations" be made mandatory at the time of introduction of such bills. Is reservation not anti democracy? Is it not limiting freedom of electing leader of our choice? Is reservation the only solution for women upliftment? Can this be achieved by other means like better education and awareness? How different will this make the benefeciaries from the already existing power hungry politicians? If 50% of the seats are reserved for women..will it ensure 50% for men? Should potitical parties, which back this bill, implement it when they go for elections, rather than making it a law? Are all those political parties have 50% women contestents in previous elections? Is Rabri Devi 100% CM of Bihar?
