I have gone through the article by krishnaiah gaaru and the comments by all others. I would like to say few words here. Every one of us had bad or good experience with this reservation issue. Krishnaiah Gaaru is trying to represent a group of people and he has every right to put his/their points across. Let us respect whatever his points are. We are still hopefully living in a civilized world and let us control our feelings. Let us put our points in front of them/him in a convincing way. Let him convey our thoughts to his group of people. There is an issue and let us find out a solution for that instead of arguing on the point and blaming each other.
Krishnaiah gaaru. You are now a popular figure across telugus all over the world. Congratulations.
I agree with your points like country can not develop until 60 % of its population is not considered for development, intelligence is not limited to a group of people and there are many people living under poverty line who don’t have access to good quality education. These are all good points. As you are representing a group of people you always used your group to qualify in your article. Please consider the way you have conveyed the point. We all hope you are trying to help the people and not your own interests.
We all know that the reservation is there now for the last close to 60 years and only 2 % of the people got benefited by it. Only that 2% people are still making use of it. By this time you must have come to know that there are people under poverty line in all the groups and they need assistance to come up in the society.
I hope you know that “Competition” is driving the world today. So those who can compete can survive and come up any where. If we don’t have people who can compete in the country it triggers disaster. For example brain drain. Intelligent people in India are not getting proper jobs and so competing in the world market and going away from the country. If this trend continues for some more time no intelligent will be here in India. Good thing is the present generation people are sending money back to India and helping to its economic growth. Next generation will not do that. Government will not have any money left for keeping the reservation and intelligent (Also includes people from your group) people to support it. Reservation system in one way actually affecting badly, it is not helping the people to grow in a positive direction. And at the same time Government is not a profit oriented company, it has to think about economically backward people. So there should be some way to balance between reservation and development. There should be some way to improve the quality of governance, standard of living and competition spirit in the people.
Let us put together what can be done now to improve the situation. Everything depends up on one point. Nothing is free. Everything comes with a responsibility attached to it.
1. We must give loans to all the economically backward students for their studies. They repay it back by doing a job whatever assigned to them by govt at any place in the country for atleast 5 years.
2. There must be reservation in the jobs but only limited to the lowest level of jobs where intelligence is not a criteria ex:- Reservation can be there for Attenders , Drivers, Postmen, Army Jawans etc ..., But not for Collector, Doctor and Engineer etc ..
3. One family will have only one time reservation for jobs and to only one person. The family must support 2 others in their basic education.
4. All students in the next 15 years after completing their course from premier institutes must go to the remote places in the country, stay there and serve for atleast 3 years to improve the standard of living of the people.
And last but not least. Every Group and person must have self respect, come out of the thinking that some one will come from some where and help you, You need to struggle hard to come up in the life. Select some one who can guide you in a good direction as your leader.

Many of my friends replies him as krshnaiah garu. sorry friends, he dont deserve it. No need to respect him in any way like this bloody politician.
In my previous reply i asked him to prove his merit first. I think he cannot give me reply bcoz there is nothing to prove in him.

And for the author's info Eenadu - Ramoji Rao, Wipro-Premji, Infosys-NarayanMurthy all are not born with silver spoon.
To introduce reservation concept there was a problem in those. But still implementing reservation means they are just 'POLITICAL BIKSHA' only nothing else. Remember there are poor OCs also and they want to join in SC, ST & BCs list... will those communities allow for this...?
Remember 'YOU CAN PROMOTE YOUR SELF... BUT NOT DEPROMOTING SOME ONE ELSE...'

Someone recently sent me this email. We can thank Mr. Krishnaiah R if this happens.
I think we should have job reservations in all the fields. I completely support the PM and all the politicians for promoting this. Let's start the reservation with our cricket team. We should have 10 percent reservation for muslims backward. 30 percent for OBC, SC/ST like that. Cricket rules should be modified accordingly. The boundary circle should be reduced for an SC/ST player. The four hit by an OBC player should be considered as a six and a six hit by a OBC player should be counted as 8 runs. An OBC player scoring 60 runs should be declared as a century.
We should influence ICC and make rules so that the pace bowlers like Shoaib Akhtar should not bowl fast balls to our OBC player. Bowlers should bowl maximum speed of 80 kilometer per hour to an OBC Player. Any delivery above this speed should be made illegal.
Also we should have reservation in Olympics. In the 100 meters race, an OBC player should be given a gold medal if he runs 80 meters.
There can be reservation in Government jobs also. Let's recruit SC/ST and OBC pilots for aircrafts which are carrying the ministers and politicians (that can really help the country.. )
Ensure that only SC/ST and OBC doctors do the operations for the ministers and other politicians. (Another way of saving the country..)
Let's be creative and think of ways and means to guide INDIA forward...
Let's show the world that INDIA is a GREAT country. Let's be proud of being an INDIAN...

In ur article you specified 2 doctor names(Nayak & Prasad) saying that they became good doctors by using reservation. As u said they are very good doctors & Now they are financially in good position.
Now honestly tell us one thing. Do their children still need reservation???????
The reservation system should help the people who are financially backward but it should not be on caste basis.

Hi i am srinivas, working as an IT recruiter.
i dont understand one thing, why these people are fussing about reservations. everybody has a right to study, apply for jobs everything else in this country. about the denial of this right wat mr Krishnaiah was talking abt was a past.and why does he wants to have reservations to a separate group of people on the basis of their birth, than on the basis of their financial position.
i will just give you an example how reservations are misused in this country. I wrote AU entrance test in 2002 for HR program and got 42nd rank. You dont believe me i was waiting very eagerly to get a seat in AU campus and evidently i didnt get it coz i am OC candidate. so i was left without a option join a private college which is very famous in vizag, paying 17,500 along with some other fees per year. one ST candidate also joined on the same day paying 110 per year in the same college.and he left the college after one week saying that he didnt like the college. imagine somebody must have lost his seat like me for this so called reservation for backward classes.and they are making fun of it.
Hope atleast people will realise this sooner or later. Oh god plz make this country free from these reservations

If such is the case some seats should be reserved for OC's(around 50%).Then the entrance exam should be kept seperately for each caste.
Is this the democracy...shame on the govt. if they reserve seats in education especially and also shame on the people asking for reservation---dont have guts to study and compete with the intelligent OC's i think.
