nice article,when I read ur article i rememember a similar story. it is like this. a man dies and reaches heaven. when he sees his path ,he sees another pair of foot print besides his.He asks God..'whose foot prints are they' God tells him'mine'.
now when he looks back those foot prints were there through out his life time ,but he sees that in some places the prints are missing. he recollects the time and comes to know that those were the times when he was unwell,wifes expiry,loss of parents etc.... very difficult times. he turns to God and says ...what a God u are? when I am happy you were there with me....but when i needed u the most u left me...this is very unfair. God says....when u are in despair the only pair of footprints present on the path are not your's .they are mine ...I was carrying u.
when ever I am in a bad mood i think opf this story.ur thought invoked my past .

I feel a faith in God (or say Omnipotent if one does not bilieve the existance of God) will surely give comfort to the mind and hope on optimism.

That is very thought provoking.The way you expressed your thoughts is very much admirable.I havn't tried what you said ,but it is very appealing and very much interesting.May be the way i think might get changed from now on.Least but not the least 'Only faith gives immense energy'.

U r right Prasanthi garu. we shud know what we want clearly, but i guess, god helps us realise what we want and make a right choice. Anyway, we are talking about trust here. Its the trust in god that will keep us happy with our decisions and choices in life and be thankful for them. This is how i understood the issue. Thanks for ur comments chankri and prasanthi.

I do get messages when I read books related to Shirdi Baba and other Avadhutas. But why should god only knows what we want and why not we?
